K.B. Willis, age 88, of Talbott, passed away Tuesday morning, December 9, 2008. He was born on June 25, 1920. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the European Theater. He was preceded in death by his parents Lon and Bessie Willis, sister Meta Willis Livesay and husband J.T. Livesay, brother Ned and first wife Effie Harris Willis and infant child Rhonda Marie. Survivors include his wife Thelma of the home, sister Katherine Wright of Knoxville, nephews andfamily Dennis and Becky Livesay of Morristown, Mark and Lorri Livesay of Bean Station, great-niece and husband Robyn and Ryan Stump, great-nephew Matt Livesay, great-niece Danielle Adkins, great-great nieces and nephew Zoey Kennedy, Annika Drinnon, and Kaden Adkins, sister-in-law Bertha Smith. Funeral Service will be 7:00 PM Thursday, December 11, 2008 in the chapel of Mayes Family Services with Dr. Richard Emmert officiating.. The family will meet Friday, December 12, 2008 at Bethesda Cemetery for a 10:00 AM interment. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 PM prior to the service.
