Obituary

Penny Johnson age 54 of Talbott, passed away peacefully at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital February 16, 2021.She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Murphy; two brothers, Mikey Phillips and Rodney Murphy.  Survivors include her husband, Don Johnson; daughters, Christina Stump and Jeremy Jones, Misty Johnson and fiancé Tim Berry; her greatest joy grandchildren Chase Insco and Blaklee Berry; mother, Faye Phillips; brother, Greg Murphy; sisters, Jennifer (Brian) Phillips, Robin King, Tracy (Travis ) Long, Patsy (Leonard) Dalton, and Lucille Dalton; half siblings; Betty Adams, Jean Murphy, Jerry Dalton, Bobby Murphy, Debbie Murphy, special niece Octavia Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Mayes Mortuary with  Rev. Jack Greene officiating, with interment to follow in Dalton Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Friday evening ay Mayes Mortuary in Morristown.
