John Harris Reneau, 66, Morristown, TN was relieved of his earthly pain and sorrow on March 29th, 2021. He is preceded in death by his mother and Father Eula and George Reneau and sister: Betty Joe Reneau.
John, was a loving son to Eula and George Reneau of Morristown, TN. He was a peaceful brother to Charles (Florence) Reneau, Georgeann Scruggs and Betty Jo Reneau. He was a faithful husband to Itha Reneau for 46 years, together they raised Johnathan (Jessica) Reneau and Jennifer (Stephen) Stack. John taught his children the value of hard work and what it means to have unconditional love not only to family but to others. We as a family watched this in action by how he had friendships with others around him including his childhood best friend John Harrell that was loved like a brother. Their friendship helped shape and remind our family that family is not just blood. John will always be remembered for being a tender and loving person but if you ever heard him talk about his family you would have seen his eyes light up as he told you about the amazing bond and love that he had for his 5 grandchildren. Adam and Taylor Reneau of Morristown, TN. Ada, Victoria (Tori) and Ella stack of St. Francis, MN. He was an amazing brother-in-law and a loving uncle to several nieces and nephews who he loved all dearly and he was always quick to answer any calls for help from!
“All the hopes and dreams we used to talk about they’re still alive in me and I just hope I make you proud. Now I’m your legacy and it’s your love still holding me together.” Ray Stevenson
The family is graciously asking that you help us keep our husband and fathers Legacy alive by committing random acts of kindness and services to others in lieu of flowers. We ask that you look to see what your neighbor and community needs that you can help with. It can be from helping someone mow their yard, plant trees. Dropping flowers off as an encouragement for another person. Giving an encouraging word to a stranger. Pray with a stranger. Pay for someone’s donut or coffee. We want others to remember that his legacy lives on through us that are left behind and that together we can make someone stronger!
