Jason Cooper, age 48 of Mohawk, TN passed away suddenly after a tragic accident on October, 7, 2021. Jason was saved at a young age at Kingswood School Church. He was a kind soul and always extended a helping hand to his neighbors and friends. He was selfless. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but most importantly he loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Max and Ellaree Cooper and Inez Whitson Pullon. He is also preceded in death by his father, Johnny Cooper.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Pat Wallace; step-father, Jeremiah Wallace; grandparents, Herbert and Betty Whitson; brother and best friend, Brandon Cooper and wife, Donna; nephew, Aaron Ray Cooper; aunt, Janice Cooper; uncle, Ricky Whitson, and favorite aunt, Robin Cooper; first cousins, Jennifer Renner, Preston Justice, Keli Hunt and Chad Whitson; step-sisters, Jerrica Herd and Sara Holt. Jason also has a host of cousins, great- nieces and nephews, and friends who will carry on his memory.
A celebration of Jason’s life will be held at 7PM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Mayes Mortuary with Scotty Earls and Preston Justice officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service beginning at 5PM. Family and friends will meet at 11AM for a graveside service on Wednesday October 13, 2021 in the mausoleum at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
