Homer Lee Harrell, 80, of Morristown, went to be with his heavenly father on Monday, November 4, 2019. Homer retired as the Maintenance Supervisor from Union Camp; he also served on the Morristown Planning Commission for several years and was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church for 32 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Roy Lee and Ola Mae Harrell; brothers: Darris and Denver (Martha) Harrell; brother-in-law: John Dash and step-son: Blane Hale.
Homer leaves his wife: Wanda Morgan Harrell; daughter: Renea (Michael) Conley; sons: Richard Harrell and Russell (Traci) Harrell; step-daughter: Angie Stickley (Tom Eldridge), step-daughter-in-law: Diane Hale. Grandchildren: Kristi Johnson, Brett Conley, Neal Conley, Gray Harrell, Emmy Harrell, Taylor Stickley and Morgan Stickley and 11 great grandchildren. Sisters: Jane (Ed) Collingsworth and Velma Dash. Along with several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Receiving of friends will be Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 with Rev. Dr. Larry Parrott officiating.
Graveside and interment services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, November 7 at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
