Obituary

Glen Wayne Pigmon, 82, of Morristown, passed away on October 27, 2021, at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Leonard and Irene Pigmon and brother Keith Pigmon.

So loved by his wife of 57 years, Patricia A. Pigmon and his daughter Sonya (Harrison) Beene. Proud of his granddaughter, Natalie (Anthony) Damico and his great-granddaughter Luca Marie Damico. Sisters, Brenda Lawson, Barbara Blevins, Carolyn Waites and Wanda Reed, several nieces and nephews.

Wayne was owner and operator of Hayter Printing & Die Cutting from1982-2016, in which, he poured his heart into. In earlier years, he was a dedicated car salesman for Price Motors, Inc. He was a Partner in P & H Properties. Member and Past Exalted Ruler of the Morristown Elks Lodge, Kiwanis Club of Morristown, Morristown Jaycees, General Longstreet Museum, Rod Benders Club, Ducks Unlimited, and Hamblen County Road Commission.

Throughout his years in business, his close friends and family, the Jones family, his love for animals, and the outdoors, Wayne made lasting friendships and special memories, especially with the “Duck Boys”, that will always be cherished.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made, in his memory, to a special organization, Lakeway Young Life PO Box 40 Jefferson City, TN 37760.

Graveside service will be held at Hamblen Memory Gardens on Saturday, October 30th at 11:00am. After the service, all are invited to visit and share memories of Wayne with his family at Sonya’s house.
