William "Buzz" Long

April 10, 1952 - January 27, 2009

William E. "Buzz" Long, age 56 of Morristown, passed away January 27, 2009 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Casey Long. Survivors include, his wife, Mary of Morristown, sons; Casey (Emily) Long of Knoxville, and Russell Long of Morristown, daughter, Katie Long of Morristown; mother, Frances Long of Morristown; sisters, Lynn Long of Morristown, Susan (Darrell) Dillard of Lewisville, TN., Carol Long of Johnson City, and Patty (Roger) Bush of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in the chapel of Mayes Family Services with Rev. Dwight Kenney officiating. Graveside services will be Thursday, 11:00 A.M. in Jarnagin Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cancer Center, Morristown Region, 908 W. 4th North St. Morristown, Tennessee 37814.
