Thomas E. Heck 85, of Whitesburg passed away February 12, 2009 at Life Care of Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Jocie Heck. Survivors include his brother: Charles Heck of South Carolina, sister: Jackie Boswell of Louisiana. Daughters: Mary Margaret Heck of Talbott, Edna Mary Heck of Morristown, and Ada Ruth Heck Bell, husband, Jackie of Whitesburg. Grandchildren: Loretta Leann McCarty Wolfe, husband, Michael; Mary Elaine McCarty of Newport, Stephanie Ann McCarty Long, husband, Billy of Talbott, and Amber LaShae Heck of Whitesburg. Several great grandchildren, and special friend John Horner. Special thanks to all the staff at Life Care of Jefferson City for all the love and care they gave to him. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Saturday, February 14, 2009 from the chapel of Mayes Family Services with Rev. Terry Bunch officiating. Family will gather at 1:45 PM Sunday, February 15, 2009 for a 2:00 PM Graveside service at Phillipi Cemetery, Bulls Gap, TN. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM prior to services. Arrangements by Mayes Family Services of Morristown
