Teresa Reckner age 51 of Sweetwater, formerly of Morristown, passed away June 4, 2021 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Loretta Ogle; and her parents, Josie and Ray Whaley. Survivors include her husband, David Reckner of Sweetwater; daughter, Heather Parker of Maryville; son Corey McCravey of Morristown; special friend Amanda Loveday; sisters, Shirley Kitts, Brenda Murr, and Connie Lewter; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, June 8, 2021 in the chapel of Mayes Mortuary with Rev. James Harris officiating. The family will meet at 12:45 P.M. Wednesday for a 1:00 P.M. graveside service in Burchett Cemetery in Harrogate. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. prior to services Tuesday evening at the funeral home. To help with funeral expenses the family requests donations in lieu of flowers. Mayes Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
