Steven W. Isaacs, age 66, of Morristown, TN, passed away peacefully Sunday morning November 11, 2018, at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital after battling complications from an emergency heart surgery. He was a graduate of Marion High School in Marion, NC, and received a BS from Western Carolina University. Steve was the co-owner of Isaacs Enterprises Inc., a regional petroleum marketing company. Steve served on the board of the Tennessee Fuel and Convenience Store Association for many years, was a recent past president and served as the Tennessee Representative to the Petroleum Marketers Association of America for the past 6 years. He also served on the National BP/ Amoco Markets Association Board for many years. Steve was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, being at Folly Beach and playing golf with his dear friends. Steve loved music, especially beach music and he played sax in a local band during his high school years.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents Creed and Ibera Isaacs and his brother Bobby.
Steve is survived by his wife, Deborah and children Stephanie (Elizabeth De Santis) and Gregory, as well as his two grandsons, Reed and Graham; brother, Jerry (Gale); and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends.
Visitation will be Sunday November 18, 2018 from 2 - 4pm at Mayes Mortuary, 444 W Main Street, Morristown, TN 37814 (423) 586-3211. A private family service will be held the following Monday.
