Nancy Jo Clift

February 16, 1944 - March 30, 2021

Nancy Jo Edwards Clift "Nan" of Morristown passed away on March 30, 2021, at her home.  Nancy was born in Shelbyville, TN to Thomas Marion and Virginia Williams Edwards. She was a member of the Church of Christ.  She loved the Lord and her family.  She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Preceded in death by parents, Marion and Virginia Edwards, sister Janet (Jerry) Bates, and son in law Terry Harris. She retired from International Paper and spent her time enjoying life with family and friends.  She loved her family and saw good in everything.  Her amazing Sunday dinners were a gathering place for everyone.  She loved going to family occasions, the beach, flowers, and antiquing.  She will be greatly missed by her family. Nancy leaves behind her husband, Ralph Clift, her children: Gina Harris and Andy Clift, along with 6 grandsons, 5 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter. Her life was service to the Lord and shown in her daily life. Visitation will be Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM with funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM at Mayes Mortuary.  Burial will be in Jarnagin Cemetery.  Pastor Blaine Kelley will officiate the services.
