Mary Nell Wells

April 26, 1936 - April 5, 2020

Mary Nell (Hammond) Wells, age 83 of Talbott, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020, at Life Center of Morristown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Wells, twin sons Roger and Ronald, and her parents Charles and Janie Hammond, as well as her brothers Harrell, Jerry, Buck, and Fred Hammond, and her sister Edna Wolfe. She is survived by her son, Tony (Angie) Wells, her granddaughters Nikki (Brandon) Rozek, and Sydney Wells, and by her brother Wayne Hammond, and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation and gratitude to both Avalon Hospice and Life Care Center's caregivers and staff for the care given their mom and grandmother. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at Jarnagin Cemetery with Rev. Tom Wells officiating. Services entrusted to Mayes Mortuary of Morristown, www.mayesmortuary.com.
