Mary A. Holaway, age 100, of Whitesburg, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab Center. She was a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Ramon Holaway; brothers, Leonard Bullington, Howard Bullington; sister, Edith Arrington. Survivors include her children, Warren Holaway and Jenny (Hoot) Gibson; grandchildren, Eric (Melissa) Carson, Jodi (Eddie) Ingram; 6 great-grandchildren, Megan Sharp, Macy Carson, Rowdy Carson, Joshua Brotherton, Cody Brotherton, Rylan Ingram; 4 great great-grandchildren, Xaden, Cameron, Jamari, Journey; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Jefferson City Health and Rehab. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Roger Porter and Rev. Greg Ellison officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Mayes Mortuary
