Marilyn Grace Acuff

February 8, 1928 - December 6, 2020

Marilyn Grace Acuff age 92, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020 at Life Care Center of Morristown. She was the first Volunteer with Avalon Hospice in Morristown, helping them to begin the wonderful care and support they provide for many families. Preceding her in death are her daughters: Cathy Clarady and Carol Auton; grandchildren: Margaret Lynn Auton, Daniel Clarady and Whitney Auton. Marilyn leaves her children: Larry and Lisa Senesac of Knoxville; Jan and Doug Myers of Morristown; and special son: Dave Auton of Knoxville.  Grandchildren: Traysi and Kent Elkins of Michigan, Tami Clarady, Christi and Scott Brotherton, Michael Clarady and Ashley and Brandon Taylor all of Morristown; Davin Auton and Mandy Spence of Florida, Fred and Michelle Myers of Morristown, Ben and MacKenzie Myers of Jefferson City, Lauren and Jake Nichols of Knoxville, Erin and Tommy Morgan of Greenville, South Carolina, Anna and Marc Lamb of Morristown, and Becca and Wayne Oakes of Morristown, along with dozens of great and great great grandchildren. Due to the restrictions with COVID, the family will be having private graveside services in Hamblen Memory Gardens with Rev. Joe Hamlett officiating.
