Margaret Taylor Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Margaret Taylor age 82 of Morristown, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019, the Lord's day of rest to be with her savior at her nephew, David's home, with him and her beloved caretaker Tiffany Marie at her side. She was a loving aunt, sister, and friend to many, whom loved the Lord had was a member of the 1st Christian Church. Her family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Smoky Mountain Hospice. Angie, her nurse, and Shirley, her CNA, she bragged on you all, and loved you all. She lit up every time she saw you. As she always said, "I told Tiffany, you girls can have the weekend off,-we only hire the best". James Goins, her chaplain, she absolutely loved you and your visits. The compassion, love and support from her hospice team will forever be in the hearts of her family. You have become family and she was blessed to have you all. She was preceded in death by her parents: Olbert and Mary Lou Taylor; and brothers: Charles, Porter and George Taylor. Margaret leaves behind her sister: Rosemary (Jackie) Stansberry; Nephew: David (Tiffany Marie Allen) Stansberry; nieces: Lisa (Jerry) Ballard and Aranda (Randy) Pruitt; and many great and great great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Mayes Mortuary, funeral services will follow at 6:00 with Rev. James Goins officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Jarnagin Cemetery.
