Johnnie Frances Wardwell, born May 25, 1939, went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2019 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. She was preceded in death by her husband: Bruce Wardwell, granddaughter: Misty Marie Mason and 4 sisters; and nephew Donnie Christopher. Johnnie leaves her daughter: Sharon (James "Dickey") Mason; sons: Johnny Wardwell and Delbert and Connie Wardwell. Special grandson: Jason Mason, granddaughter: Crystal and Travis Winstead and grandson: Anthony Wardwell. Two special great grandchildren: Braxton Mason and Morgan Mason and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother: George Hanson and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff on 3 North at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare for their care and support. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at Mayes Mortuary. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 with Bro. Travis Winstead officiating. Burial will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
