Jerry Blane Lucas Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jerry Blane Lucas, 78, of Mooresburg, went to be with his Lord on July 1, 2019 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System surrounded by loved ones. Jerry was a Vietnam War Veteran who loved nothing more than God, his family, gardening, hunting and fishing. His strong, talented hand blessed the world beyond belief. He is preceded in death by his parents: Noah and Emma Lucas, brothers: Willard, Johnny, Jim, George, Herman and Challie. Sisters: Gladys, Clara and Violet. Father and mother-in-law: Eugene and Allene Adkins Pennell. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia Lucas, his loving daughter: Trisha Lucas Trent, and precious grandchildren: Lucas and fiance' Cheyanne and Landon and fiance' Summer. Brothers: Noah Lucas, Jr. (Dude), Larry (Reba) Lucas. Sisters: Ruby Elkins and Jessie Elkins. Sister-in-law: Nona Lucas. Sisters and brothers-in-law: Micky Davidson, Oma (Robert) Pennell, Sammy (Lisa) Adkins and Tim (Lois) Adkins. Along with a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. And many brothers in arms form the Mountain Home VA Center. Visitation with his family will be Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mayes Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will gather at Mayes Mortuary at 10:30 AM, Friday, July 5, 2019 to proceed to Hamblen Memory Gardens for Military Entombment services.
