James "Jim" Williams

May 7, 1940 - July 1, 2020

James N. Williams-Jim "Wormie", age 80 of Talbott, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at the James H Quillen VA Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. He was a veteran, honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. He was a faithful employee for 39 years working for Forenta, then Commer Electric. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Linda Williams; daughter Audrea Nelson; son-in-law Scott Nelson; grandchildren Tyler and Peyton Nelson; and daughter Angela Mitchell; brother Bobby (Leoma) Williams, sisters-in-law Lonella, Relma, and Myra Williams, and Betty Lois Weller; numerous nieces and nephews, and special and dear friend Jamie Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents Isaac and Bunia Williams; brothers Richard, Burl, Lloyd, Horace, Kenneth, Ray, Ross, and Elmo Williams, and sister Doris Wisecarver. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Grace Baptist Church, 425 Lincoln Ave, Morristown, TN 37813, with funeral services to follow.  Military graveside services will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, July 6, 2020, at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
