Gary Livesay

October 23, 1952 - December 31, 2008

Gary Lee Livesay, age 56 of Bean Station, passed away December 31, 2008 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vina and Roy Livesay; Daddy and Mama Carpenter, and Robert and Kate Livesay. Survivors include his wife, Debbie of Bean Station; children, Tabatha (Steve) Ellison and grandchildren Hunter, John and Rory; son, Matthew Livesay; stepchildren, Glen (Danielle) Starnes, Jr. and step grandchildren, Dustin (Brittany), Joe, Jason, Daniel, Tyler, and Taylor; Pamela Ellison and step grandchildren, Kyc, Darrell, and Tasha, and step great grandchildren, Braden and Natalie; David (Penny) Stout and step grandchild Nolan; Brian Stout, Scott (Shannon) Stout and step grandchildren Jake and Sawyer; Lorrie (Denver) Dalton and step grandchildren, Cole, Gabe, Abby, and Molly Grace; sisters, Cherrie (Steve) Ivey and Shirley (Larry) Buell; and brother, Burley Livesay. Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 2, 2009 in the chapel of Mayes Family Services in Mooresburg with Rev. Dwight Wolfe officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday in Meadowbranch Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. prior to services at the funeral home in Mooresburg. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Relay for Life, American Cancer Society.
