Emma Livesay Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Emma Pauline Davis Livesay, age 81 of Morristown went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, February 8, 2009, at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. Pauline attended the Cedar Hill Church of God. She was born February 13, 1927, in Bristol, TN to the late George Washington Davis, Sr. and Birdie Lee Howe Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay H. Livesay, two brothers: George W. Davis, Jr. and Clifford W. Davis and wife, Louise and three nephews. Pauline is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Wilma Lee (John) Roberts and Patty (Bobby) Hughett. Two grandchildren: Jonathan (Tressa) Roberts and Pamela Hughett, three great grandchildren: Katie, Kameron, and Kayla Roberts all of Morristown. Brother: Jack W. (Claudine) Davis of Rogersville, sister-in-law: Helen Davis of Chattanooga. Several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family expresses their gratitude to Dr. John Horner, Dr. Sunil Ramaprasad, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed, and Dr. Ernesto Mejia for their care over the years. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from the chapel of Mayes Family Services with Rev. Charles Lanter and Rev. Tracy Colley officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM prior to services. The family will gather at 9:45 AM, Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 10:00 AM graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Daily Bread Community Kitchen, PO Box 1458, Morristown, TN 37816-1458.
