Dewey Edward Horner, Sr. age 75 passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare. He was the owner and operator of Horner TV Sales and Service, a member of Alpha Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. Dewey was preceded in death by his parents Edd and Margaret Horner. He leaves his son, Dewey Edward Horner, Jr. (Eddie). Brother: Herbert (Marvella) Horner; step-mother: Ruby Horner; aunt: Mary Ellen Acuff; uncle: Grant Helton; niece and nephew: Jennifer and Jeffrey Horner. The family would like to thank Dr. John Horner and staff and Lauren Phillips for all the care Dewey received during his battle with cancer. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mayes Mortuary with funeral services to follow at 7:00 with Rev. Randy Brooks officiating. Military graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, Feb. 28, 2020 at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
