She serves her church in many capacities throughout the years.  Even after health issues prevented her attendance, she worshipped via the TV ministry, from her home.  Her life was bout nurturing and growing things…families and gardens.  A talented seamstress.. during the decades of the 50’s and 60’s, Kathryne made most of her daughters’ clothes, as well as her own.  Both of their wedding gowns were her creations.

Kathryne was active in the work of General Federated Women’s Club as a member of Junior Reading Circle and Ladies’ Reading Circle. Through GFWC, she made many contributions to her community.

Special thanks goes to the CARIS Healthcare team of Sevierville, TN and to Shelia Dennis, a loving and compassionate caregiver and friend.

Kathryne was a long-time supporter of Young Life Ministries.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to this program or to the First Baptist Church Morristown Building Fund, would honor her memory and be appreciated by the family.
